What does HAILIE stand for?
Housing AI Leadership & Implementation Exchange.
Is this just for CEOs or digital teams?
No. HAILIE is for anyone in housing who’s interested in how technology can improve services and outcomes. That includes operations, customer experience, asset management, compliance, and more.
Is there a cost to join?
No. HAILIE is a free, open community. You can sign up to the mailing list to receive invites and resources.
What kinds of meetings are held?
We host short, high-value virtual roundtables every 4 weeks. Some may be themed (e.g. AI in compliance, Co-pilot trials, damp and mould prediction) and others open for sharing current challenges.
Will this promote particular vendors, consultants or products?
No. HAILIE is intentionally vendor-neutral and designed as a safe, collaborative space.
Why do you allow vendors at all?
Vendors often have useful experience from working across multiple housing providers, and form an important part of the Housing technology ecosystem. By participating transparently and without sales pitches, they can contribute valuable perspectives on what works, common pitfalls, and implementation lessons. Their role is to support learning and collaboration, not self-promotion.
Is HAILIE affiliated with the product Housing AI?
No, HAILIE is a sector-wide community effort. Housing AI is a product.
Are there other AI groups for Housing?
Yes! Carolina Padovezi de Oliveira runs one for Registered Providers only. DASH provides AI advisory and has some resources such as case studies. Various technology vendors run AI sessions focused on sales. If you know of any other groups, please let us know!
Can I contribute?
Yes! We welcome suggestions for topics, case studies, volunteers or speakers. Get in touch via guy@housingai.org.
